Cultural Heritage Professionals Results from the Digital Preservation Outreach Education Network With the current proliferation of training opportunities available in digital preservation , this study asks : what are the most in demand digital preservation instruction topics To answer this question , we did a qualitative content analysis of 168 Professional Development Support applications received by the Digital Preservation Outreach and Education Network DPOE-N between September 2020 and December 2023. The study finds that the management of digital records and metadata cataloging standards were the most requested training topics , and that general and broadly applicable skills
